In other words, it is an accomplishment that has been achieved due to deliberate and consistent efforts. Success, however, is different for everybody. One person's success can be seen as failure in the eyes of another, because people have different desires and values. Although specific definitions of success vary between individuals, success is definitely the driving force of our decisions and actions, and it is what we all strive for as the ultimate goal in our lives.

  10. To me, success is split into two broad categories.
First, there is the personal, or internal, evaluation. In this case, one must be content with himself/ herself because of the progress made with a certain goal.

Next, there is the public evaluation. This is commonly (possibly stereotypically) a reference to one's financial standing, ownership of expensive or rare tangible goods, or demeanor in certain environments.

For me, the personal evaluation is definitely of higher importance. I don't particularly care what other people think of me, as long as I'm content with who I am, what I'm doing, and how well I'm progressing, I see myself as successful.
